How to Play
Mafia is a deduction and bluffing game between the Citizen faction and the Mafia faction.
Game Flow:
- Role Assignment - Roles are randomly assigned
- Night - Mafia chooses a target, Cop investigates, Doctor protects
- Morning - Overnight events are announced
- Day Discussion - Players take turns sharing their opinions
- Vote - Vote to exile the suspected Mafia member
- The game ends when Citizens find all Mafia, or Mafia outnumber Citizens!
Role Guide:
- Citizen - Use discussion and voting to find and exile the Mafia
- Mafia - Eliminate one person each night and blend in during the day
- Cop - Investigate one person each night to determine if they are Mafia
- Doctor - Choose one person each night to protect from Mafia attacks
- Thug - Can execute one person each night (appears with 8+ players)

Q. How do I play the Mafia game?
Choose the number of players (4-12) and roles are assigned. At night, each role performs their action; during the day, you discuss with NPCs and vote. Citizens win by finding all Mafia; Mafia wins by outnumbering Citizens.
Q. How do NPCs behave?
Each NPC has a unique personality (Aggressive, Cautious, Emotional, Analytical, Quiet) and speaks contextually. Mafia NPCs attempt to lie and deflect suspicion onto others.
Q. What is the Thug?
The Thug is a Citizen-aligned role that appears with 8+ players. They can execute one person each night, but executing a Citizen hurts the Citizen faction.
Q. What are the win conditions?
The Citizen faction wins by exiling all Mafia members. The Mafia faction wins when the number of Mafia equals or exceeds the remaining survivors.
